Expansive Riding Arena
Red Horse’s 150x 275 foot covered arena is equipped with lights for early morning or evening rides, fans for hot summer days, and wind screens for cold winters. The dirt is designed specifically for reining, and is worked and watered daily to maintain its integrity. There are two observation decks outside of the arena for friends and family.

We have open-arena, haul-in days a few days out of the month. We strive to open the arena on rainy days so that you and your horse dont have to miss a day of work. These days are posted on our facebook and can also be found on our events calendar.

With 25+ years of experience in coaching students and training horses along with many National Championship titles, Sobral Performance Horses is dedicated to providing exceptional riding lessons and training tailored to individuals of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced riders, ages 5 and up.

Sobral Performance Horses understands that not everyone has access to their own horse. That is why they offer a selection of well-trained and safe lesson horses that are available for their students to ride. This ensures that anyone with a passion for western riding can pursue their dreams and learn from a true expert in the field.
Sobral Performance Horses is also involved with the Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) and offers a western team for riders in grades 4th - 12th. Students on their IEA team, Texas Riding Academy, have earned multiple National Championship titles. What makes IEA shows unique? Riders do not have to own a horse to participate! IEA opens up exciting opportunities for riders to participate in competitive events and showcase their skills on a larger stage without having to own a horse.
